We farm 3000 acres here in central PA. Ground farther away we apply P&K in the fall according to soil test. This ground is for grain corn and grass hay. Closer to the farm gets dairy manure we harvest alfalfa haylage and most of the corn is harvest for silage. We also chop triticale on about 300 acres in the spring, more if weather allows us. We try to maintain ph 6.3 to 7. Have some fields ca. parts per mil, low 2000.
Most go from 1000 to to 1800 parts per million.
We get gypsum delivered $55 a ton 16% sulfur around 20% calcium. We spread 300-500 lbs
