| Too much calcium in a soil can actually tie up the sulfur and limit the crops ability to extract it from the soil for a while. Ca wont lower the Mg but will affect the ratio. Only nutrients removed from the field as grain will removed the nutrients. I'd be careful about too much N. It can make the nodules lazy but 20 lbs of N early shouldnt be a problem. Us what makes sense then from an application standpoint. AMS is fine. ATS is fine. | |
