SD | Had some old crop corn in August that I wasn’t going to need for feed to make to harvest, so get rid of the low tw, high fm junk corn and be done. What those bushels got priced at versus what I sold corn for a couple days ago the cash price doubled. Soybeans on the other hand in that same scenario are $2-2.50 bushel short on the cash price. So with stock to use in beans at 2.61% and corn at 10.3%, what gives? Soybean basis has been super flat for us, but has picked up a dime in the last week now.
