I just look at it differently. Land has always been an excellent investment for a farmer. It has always increased in value over time. The bankers love it for collateral. It can never be taken away from you where rented ground is usually year to year. There is nothing wrong with being an investor in something else and wanting a good ROI. Personally we will continue to buy land.
