Center of Nebr. | My son stated farming in the late 90's. He bought his first farm with a beginning farmer loan. He has continued to buy land and is doing quite well. I look at land ownership as a forced savings plan for a farmer. He will do what ever it takes to make those payments. It forces him to make better management decisions. For example: Will he buy shiny new equipment or will he make his land payment. | |
