Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Kind of comes down to the "luck of the draw". If you market same amount of bushels and didn't have any unusual expenses through the year then your income probably stayed close to the same for each quarter. I'll add that this is just from a grain only farm. Livestock would definitely look different.
I just happened to sell less in the second and 4th quarters last year. Something like 50% less in the second quarter. Just happened to turn out that way.
