35k, I have been planting a avg of 37k on the 15" but knew that was to much for 30" to handle, So I droped it back to 35k to make it "more fair" to the 30"

when I planted 30" I averaged 34500.


Ok thanks. It's what I see more or less. Those that go from 30 to narrower row AND push population up seem to always be the ones that say narrow doesn't pay or have standability issues etc. Those that maintain population when going to narrower tend to have better results. Until you can bring the rest of your fertility and other bu limiting issues up to higher levels, more population reguardless of row spacing is likely to fail.
