NW Washington | I doubt that heating the slab would help very much for overall heating of your house. Normally electric floor heat is considered supplemental heat and the floor is just kept at a temperature that is just warm to the touch, and controlled with a timed thermostat so that it is only warm when the room is in use. If you have no insulation under the slab that would be a real energy loser too. Call Radiant Source with your questions.
