I would think fringe acres would be the acres still up in the air. New crop wheat is still barely profitable if you are a guy opposed to double-cropping so I would think with 5.70 new crop milo and $11 beans any questionable wheat field should be switched to an alternate crop. Personally we plant corn over milo but that’s not normal for the area.
