Subject: RE: protecting corn to the upside

Central ND
The cattle are only 575 pounds now so only getting hay, beet pulp and distillers. Won’t feed any corn until I get new crop which is only worth $3.85 here. Would like to lock in my feed costs for next fall. If I hedge cattle soon it no longer will look good if my corn is worth $4.75 next fall instead of $3.85 now.
