Subject: protecting corn to the upside

Central ND
Not sure how to do this or if I even have too. We will end up feeding about 1/5 of our corn crop to cattle already purchased. Does it pay to protect it from going higher and if so, how? If February live cattle stay where they are at I am comfortable with another $.40 higher. Looking for ideas on what others do when trying to lock in price on a home grown commodity.
