Would debt apply to the government the same way as your Lambo example? The government has no intent of paying it back and it appears we continue to accelerate the rate of debt we are adding. IMO interest rates are by far a larger factor to inflation than the government spending. Loan creation is a larger source of money creation and interest rates are what drives that(along with other elements). Also the stock market plays a roll in inflation with its market cap a large chunk of weight to throw around.
