central Ohio | I have always found it difficult to have an exact line item budget for lime costs. I am on a corn bean rotation for the most part. I have grid samples pulled after bean harvest and VRT the lime, what ever it takes it gets it lime is extremely important. Have used 2.5 acre grids for a long time, but currently switching to 1 acre grids. After a farm is limed properly it’s usually 4 to 6 years till it calls for lime again( around here) | |
