| Our economy is based on debt. If people weren't out spending the economy slows. It may be impossible to get a 6.5% return under that scenario.
It's none of anyone's business what anyone does with their money.
Some people desire things, some money, some memories. Many folks seek a balance of those and others things of their choosing.
I'm thankful we're not all the same.
I sacrificed a lot when I was young to build my business while watching some of my friends "blowing" their money.
Today I get to live the way I want to live and I can afford it.
One of my friends who spent it before they made it died in his early fifties. I'm glad for him that he lived his life the way he chose.
Had he taken my path he would have died before he got a chance to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
