Bourbon,Indiana | True. Yet I would still say there is ample time to get the lime on and for the OP to still get the benefits to the soil if not the present corn crop, at least for future crops.
I've even spread lime in v4 corn or 12" beans (pull type spreader) just to get my lime on, due to not being able to do so in a timely manner prior to planting. All this in an effort to get the soil amended.
