Subject: trying to find old thread

EC Nebraska
Several years ago there was a poster in either New Mexico or Arizona that grew a little dryland corn. If I'm remembering correctly, he tried it because he had a wetter than normal spring. But he didn't get any, or almost no, rain between planting and harvest. And still harvested around 50 bushel/acre. I think he planted around 12,000 seeds/acre.

He said there wasn't much problem with weeds because it never rained enough for them to germinate.

Anyone else remember that thread, or am I imagining things?
