Western Iowa | I can't argue a bit on that. New designs will always have 'bugs' that need to be worked out. I do give credit also that it sounds like Ziegler stuck it out and tried pretty hard to keep them going.
On the other hand, I don't want to be a 'beta' test on a combine. This wasn't one combine of the bunch, it was all of them having issues. Are all those issues worked out? Sure says the salesman, buy it and find out next fall.
I probably won't be a new combine buyer at any point looking forward, as my ambition level is dropping fast, and the fact last summer I bought a nice Class 8 Deere with 1800 hours for 50k. I understand that doesn't work for everyone, but does for me. Perhaps I shouldn't even be commenting on stuff like this anymore......... | |
