| I was thinking of doing some fall rye, and winter wheat. I was trying to do some research into mustard and millet as well. Canola I think just costs me too much to plant for what this land is capable of. It’s a shame because it’s on an aquifer about 9 feet down but they would never let the owner tie into it. I will likely have to do some beans on bean ground too just to get stuff into a more balanced rotation. I’m just used to high input, higher yielding crops and if I farm that way on this stuff I don’t think I’ll turn any sort of profit.
