ND | The way Windows 10 works anymore(for the most part) is it is tied to your Microsoft account.
If it is not, it uses the motherboard to "tie" to I believe, so you can clone it and have a backup drive, as long as the only thing that changes is the drive, not the motherboard or most of the system.
In my opinion, keep the 7 machine 7, and the 10 machine 10. Upgrading seems to leave alot of "junk" behind which doesn't help 10 any. | |
