Cva coop in Nebraska has a program for its farmer owners now.

curious how they will spin this so they can operate on the farmers money, interest free, then charge them taxes when they give the money back........ i mean "pay patronage'
Whoa!
When you "gave" the co-op the money It was a fully deductible expense to you if any money comes back to you then yes it should be taxed as income, No differently than when you sell a fully depreciated item.

its an interest free loan............ plain and simple

But it's to yourself to your business. You own it, run it! of course you have to share that privilege with the other owners go to the annual meetings. Run for a directorship or at least vote for one for God's sakes. Go to your area or local meetings and find out what the co-op is dealing with and how they're dealing with it and put some useful well thought out in put in just not a b**** about what's best for your situation. Co-ops and the schools have a lot in common. everyone's willing to b**** about him but nobody's willing to do the work it takes to run them through the Democratic process they were designed to be run by, they turned the management over to paid bureaucrats.

your rant is fine and dandy until your coop leadership selects the nominees. so yea, keep telling us how good the system is while I will continue to tell you its broken and that is why the coop system is dying. most people are smart enough to know that interest free loans are dumb.
