Colorado and Oz

Radiehl -  I read this as well.  While interesting, remember this was done on a petri-dish with a control and a proxy enzyme for purpose of micro-measurements in clay lattice physics/chemistry discovery.

The complexity of the soil biome and how all of its various producers and predators operate is deeply interdependent that to depreciate the reality that indeed soil has and continues to accumulates carbon via these observations on a petri dish is certain to challenge observation of the larger ecology?

IHMO while an interesting footnote of observation, Gaia's soils have fossilized gigatonnes for millions of years.  To me it is an interesting story like the bumble-bee: based on aeronautical engineering the humble bumble-bee can not fly?
