Subject: Split-Sidedress vs. One-Pass

Bunker Hill, IL
I'm planning to apply UAN and ATS to achieve 60-0-0-5 with my corn planter pass, then sidedress 130-0-0-11 with straight drops around V6, with some variability depending on the season we're dealt. Would I benefit from trying to apply some of this sidedress N later, like in the late vegetative stages before tassel, or am I just trying to waste sprayer hours doing this? I've seen quite a bit of data that suggests 2x2 plus sidedress is more often than not the most profitable, but I've never seen and data on 2 separate sidedress passes.
