I would not increase population to start with. If interplant spacing is your limiting factor, then you will see a yield increase simply by going to twin row. If you get more yield you need more fertility to go with it. Then after you know what twin rows gain and you get fertility to match, then I would start testing population changes. Overall if your not getting at least 10 bu/ k seeds, seed is not your limiting factor. I'm not smart enough to give you seeds per hectare while I'm driving sorry
