Sodium and sol salts are totally different problems. Tile fixes sol salts and gypsum fixes Sodium by creating a salt that then needs to be flushed out. If you have higher sol salts you have be less aggressive with the gypsum. Guessing excluder doesn't help unless it's a salt issue, but no experience with them. How high is sodium?
