I can’t imagine those second checks are that big of a percentage of their income to make that much difference.
In my county second check amounted to about $7 acre. so don't know what the big deal is about paying taxes on an extra $7 acre on the corn acres in 2020 tax year. So if a person is 50-50 corn beans = $3.50 acre on total acres farmed back them. @ 30% in taxes would amount to about $1 acre more tax for 2020 tax year
