We had a hot spell in 2018 where it was 104 or so in august. 10” beans get like you were walking in cool water as canopy was cool. I used temp gun and it was showing about 70 degrees for soil temp there.


I believe that temperature and humidity effect has more to do with a good root profile and access to moisture and nutrients and good evapotransporation than it does with just row spacing alone.
