Radar is a better option for your Clutches but necessary for that setup. Radar sends signal typically around 60 hz where most gps systems up to 10hz so depending on your clutches you could end up leaving a skip or overlap on your endows or if you have to stop in the middle of the pass and take off again.
How does the radar tell the planter where in the field you are to turn the clutches on or off? Never in my career have I known that you can use radar for point row clutches....
We have output the speed from Trimble to AGCO a few times in the past, that works well. I can help if you need, though I might be a bit rusty on exactly how to do it, but my technology team can tell you how to do it for sure. They know the Trimble a bit better than I do. Call me or email me, and I can put you in touch with them.
