| One fast way to cut medical costs is to do away with the current view of insurance. It cost BCBS $100 when I went to my local family clinic to see the PA for a sinus infection. Took maybe 15 minutes to figure out thats what it was and write a prescription. $400 an hour is good money for someone not even a "real Dr". General everyday medical issues should be dealt with outside of insurance. The old car insurance comparison applies. I don't turn in a claim for car insurance when I change the oil...
