My blades both had a minute nick in them, but needed it ground off before the fine sharpen.

Took them and the clamps to our Men's Shed - where we have a flat belt grinder.

Ideal for what was needed, a couple of seconds, in two bursts, got rid of the said nick.

Brought them home, set up my oil stone , and they are now razor sharp. back in the Plane, and will do a first class job.

So -  that's the end of the 'report back' !!
