Ravenna Ohio | And carnitas and chili. PS my chili goes in for up to 13 hours. I love my meats to just fork shred apart. Cooked vs tender are 2 different things. Best brought together. Gives you lots of time to add seasoning too.
A number of crock outcomes can be frozen in smaller portions. We freeze my chili (no beans, wife adds beans for herself at serving time) and carnitas all the time. I finish my carnitas in a cast skillet. pour saved liquid on sizzling skillet with meat. Put a little crust on it. Serve about anyway you want. Sandwich, tacos, topping on spuds, ect. I grabbed online versions to make my first efforts and played and tweaked from there. Only once would the wife not eat it. Got carried away with the hot stuff.
