Subject: I peel an egg in 15 seconds.

East central Iowa

I made a video of the process on YouTube under my account as jaayjones.

The video runs less than a minute I believe.

I've been able to peel an egg in as little as 10 seconds.  This one in the video took 15 seconds.  My wife brings the water that has a 1/4 teaspoon of salt in it to a boil, and drops in the eggs.  Then when the water starts to boil again, because the eggs cool it, she waits 6 minutes and takes them out.  She puts them in a bowl of ice water and lets' them cool.
As you can see in the video I put about 3/4" water in the jar and drop in the egg.  I shake it vigorously until I see the shell come loose.  Too much and the egg breaks apart.  Sometimes the shell comes completely off before I don't have to slide it off.  In the video I did stop and pull the egg out and the shell came off.
Then you see the complete shell at the end.
