Western-Central Lower Michigan | I will guess that the cooling vent is plugged or the cooling fan blades are full of lint and arent turning. Laptops are famous for poor ventilation. You may need to have it taken apart to clean out the cooling, and check that the fan is turning. Damage can occur if it gets too hot.
Dont operate the computer on a soft surface that may block the vents. Newer laptops generate much more heat than the old ones. |
