East Central, Nebraska | im not entirely sure you can get a 500 unlock anymore but i would guess a omni 500 is worth $1000-1500 and a rtk cfx750 would cost about $3800 with rtk and glonass.
having x-fill with the rtk for backup would easily be worth the extra money it takes to get to a 750.
last case scenario for me if i were in that situation would be to sell the 500 and try to find an already unlocked 500 if having an rtk unlocked 500 is the top preference.
