Subject: RE: Ag Leader half planter disconnect on a JD 1790 planter

SE IL Mt.Erie, IL
I did this five years ago on a new 1795 and don’t remember it all but I remember I had a couple relays wired in and I had two 40 ft sections setup on ag leader. So switch 1&2 was used for those sections or the master for both. I also needed an ag leader clutch control module and lift switch. I had the CCM in the cab and a simple 50’ 110v extension cord ran back to the lift switch. I cut 6-8’ off one end and wired up the weather packs on it. That way I had a disconnect at the hitch. The relay tied into a couple wires coming off the fold box. Have to find the correct ones and then splice into them but I left them connected to the JD fold box also. It worked pretty good once I got it going but I decided to run row flow the next year for VRT capability.
