| Booked herbicides today for pre-emerge pass on corn and beans. Can get knockoff roundup for $13.44 a gallon on winter sale. Went ahead and booked 500 gallons, will only use about 250 on the pre program, but with corn prices where they are is it a safe bet herbicides will all be significantly up next year? Should I go ahead and book another 500 gallons to keep in my storage for the following year? That’s about $.53 in interest to carry it for a year, putting my rup cost at $13.97/gal for the 2022 crop year. | |
