WC IL | Needing some new tires on Case 1240 pivot fold planter . While I’m doing this I’m thinking of going with wider tires for help with compaction. I know quite a few on here have went this route and I’m curious what I can expect price wise. The one quote I have gotten so far is for 445/50r22.5 GT Radial tires on custom made wheels. He’s telling me he sells a lot of those tires to over the road truckers and they have good luck with them.
For tires , wheels , mounted and dropped off at my shop would be $4,250 Total.
Is this out of line or a good price ? Have any of you regretted putting tires and wheels like this on a planter or have you been happy with the results ? TIA | |
