Subject: New Holland 308 manure spreader questions...

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251
I bought a used New Holland manure spreader. The decal on the side reads it is a model 308 with 2400 gallon capacity.

Will it handle bed pack cornstalk manure from beef cattle? Will too much dry fiber/bedding stop it up?

It has a set of front and back hydraulic cylinders that raise and lower the auger in the bed. Does it need to be up or down when loading? When and how much do you adjust it? Do you need to run it at rated pto speed? Or can you slow it down to regulate how far it throws?

Any other tips or tricks?
