Floyd County, Iowa | We've got one of those people in our neighborhood, too. I just mentioned to one of the family that some jerk is throwing trash out on the road lately, mostly fast food, and it looks like hell. It stopped, luckily, so I think he might have said something to his kid.
On a related note, just yesterday while sitting in line at the bean plant, the driver of the truck ahead of me rolled his window down and threw out a small handful of candy bar wrappers. I picked up the mic and told him not to throw his garbage out the window. He just said to pick it up if it bothered me. When we pulled ahead, I did pick it up, because I don't like to see trash blowing around, and he obviously wasn't going to.
I figure that he was just the normal caliber of employee that drives for that particular co-op. | |
