Owned all models of pioneer and kept my 500. The 700 model requires a long warm up as it uses crank oil to shift. 1000 was too big for my needs. 500 fits in the back of a long box truck and is tough as nails. A little crude. Don't really care about creature comforts as I get in and out constantly.
