| I agree with this statement. I try to select for hybrids that are consistent even if that gives up some top end that a race horse hybrid has. I try to not put a race horse on more than 25% of my acres. I think the only way to know this is having a dealer/agronomist that sees these hybrids in many different environments and can be straight forward on placement for each hybrid. It is tough with as fast as genetics change in and out of lineups to be able to do yourself in my opinion. | |
