Anytime you look at land sales here it is either in quarters (160 acres) or acres. I see no mention of hectares as nobody uses the term or would know what you are talking about. Land titles list your quarters as containing 160 acres, more or less, allowing for road allowances taking a bit off the side of some. Just for fun I looked up just what a hectare is. Something like .404685 of an acre. And interestingly, "Hectare is a non SI metric unit of area equal to a square with 100 metre sides". More needless confusion.
