I wonder if it works on a principle I've been dreaming of. Instead of a turbo increase the stroke to increase compression ratio then restrict air at idle to reduce combustion temperatures thus reducing emmisions.
This comes from why use a turbo to increase oxygen for more performance only to reintroduce exhaust into the intake to reduce oxygen to cool combustion temperatures?
