NE Iowa | Haven't used CFL's in a long time. Never did like the light output and then there's what is shown in the attached photo.
I use LED's exclusively now, but I buy them by light output (Lumens) and light color, not by "wattage equivalent". Wattage is a measure of how much power the bulb uses and not a measure of light output. As others have said wattage is a poor measurement of light output.
Also, LED's are rated for other things like dimmable or not, and cold temperature operation.
