Eakly Okla. | I've had shot #1 and never know when I got the needle or had any after effects. Several friends who are on blood thinners had a small area around the injection site be slightly sore for a couple days and also what looks like a bruise (dark discoloration about size of a 1/2 dollar. I'm 2 weeks away from #2 and looking forward to getting it but think it might have a few side effects for a couple days. Research I've read are only, so far, counting 11 serious side effects per 1,000,000. I'm 82 and have been thru very scary recoveries with 2 of my children and wouldn;t wish anyone having to go thru what they did and still might have long term problems. I SAY GET THE SHOTS WHENEVER THEY ARE OFFERED
