Think about using some glass blocks in a few. They are a little pricey but will last. If your home was built before electricity made it into the country, it probably has quite a few basement windows. So the home I live in had a lot of basement windows. There were 3 sets of double wide at we put cement blocks in. 3 that got glass blocks and 4 got windows.
