Don't get me wrong if some private companies want to have a go at it and can get people to sign up with them more power to them. I'm in the boat after listening to at least half a dozen pitch that it's the same song and dance for the farmer....turn over everything to them and get the crumbs that are left over while they pad their pockets. If I'm going to go with anyone it's either going to be someone that works hand in hand with or is the NRCS or State Ag Departments (which should be doing this soley IMHO since they handle all other conservation programs already) then I know they got the gov behind them and wont go up in smoke one day.
