Maybe. Beans just don't seem to have the same response to tillage.

Going off the theory of "never let your corn plant have a hard day" I believe the strip or conventional corn gets the advantage over no till corn the first week or two after germination. Such a small critical time getting the roots down and out.

It seems beans yield alot more off late season factors like rain then minor early season stresses.
