Subject: No-Till Questions, my operation

NW Central Iowa (Fort Dodge)
First the facts
15" corn 15" Soybeans (SB planted at angle now)
1240 CaseIh planter ( NO TRASH WHIPPERS) With a case magnum rowtrack or MT755E
15" 16 row Calmer Corn Head ( BT Choppers)
Heavy Black wet ground ( My current fields all have almost pattern tile. Although some are a 100' spacing 5"
High PH soils

Will this configuration work? I am tired of Disk Ripping, we have be transitioning more and more acres every year to a Sunflower disk, That thing does beautiful job. After we combine the corn off, do not stalk chop the corn, but we have the calmers head rolls, but still leaves them 6" or so. Then Field cultivate in spring. before we plant soybeans

Rotate acres every year. Do my own soil sampling every 4 years.

Do I need trash whippers? I always felt it was pointless in 15" crops it just pushes the junk from row to row till the end. Have Self-propelled sprayer also.

What other questions do I need to ask myself.
