Subject: EZ boom or Field IQ?

Alberta
Looking at putting section and rate control on my liquid fert cart. Basic 2 boom section and 5 gpa rate control, no variable or anything. I am using an fm1000 for a monitor with most recent firmware. I have the main switch box for the field IQ but not the Auxiliary section control switch. I do not have an EZ boom. I am thinking, because with the field IQ, I would still need an Aux section switch at about $500 used, and I believe I need a rate/sec control module for the cart at $750 to $1000 used, I may as well stay with a used EZ Boom at about $600 and then I need nothing else but wiring? I have experience with EZ boom but none with Field IQ. Is there any advantage to moving to Field IQ. With EZ boom, things were cut and dried, Seems as if an upgrade to IQ is just a nickle and dime expense that I dont need.
