I used to not like prime rib that well at all. Too much fat.

Since we have went on a low carb diet going on two years now, my taste buds have changed. I no longer crave high carb foods but I crave fat instead. If a cut of meat is too lean it just does not taste so good any more. I'll put butter on it. Now prime rib tastes great and I seek out the more fatty cuts of meat at the meat counter. If something is really fatty we cut it up in chunks, pressure cook it and eat it that way.

I used to trim all the fat off my steaks when eating them and push the fat aside. Now I eat it all.

Used to hate the fat in avocados. Now I eat a half one at 3 or 4 out of five evening meals.

Funny how taste has changed once I got off sugar and a lot of higher carb foods.
